When Amaya first opened its doors in June 2007, the goal was to show that Indian food delivered in a contemporary fashion could yet be authentically Indian. We employ high-quality raw ingredients, tra…
The Shahi Paneer was soooo good!! I was so happy with the meal-it was definitely more of a sweeter sauce, but I loved it regardless (just something to keep in mind if you don't like it a bit sweet). Paneer wasn't too soft which is how I like it, and naan was very good! Will order from here again! :)

Abysmal quality. Goat curry was bines only with no meat on the bones. Aloo Goni was crisp having clearly dried out under a heat lamp. Included salad had no dressing. Rice was stale and chewy. All items were also stone cold.

The taste is good and we love the nan. On the otherhand, we ordered butter chicken size large and the size we got is not large, but normal.

It was very poor quality to be honest. The Aloo Gobi was literally 'dried out' and orange in colour for some reason, plus it had no aloo - which is the potato of gobi (cauliflower)/aloo. The palak paneer had NO paneer - not one piece.
Lamb bowl was decent but beware of the level of Spice in all these dishes especially the lamb. I like spice and this was way beyond an average spice level - but no mention on the menu. Wife could not eat it because it was too spicy, and she is used to spice.
We used to dine at Amaya on Bayview and know Derick the owner. This was a really disappointing Amaya meal - sorry.
