The chicken garlic wrap was really good and light. It was a little small but with fresh french fries, it was a great combo. The small hummus I also ordered had a creamy texture to it and was a great quantity for the size. Everything was delicious. I'd recommend going for pickup for this restaurant only because of the extra fees making the order cost a little more than twice the pay which is a ridiculous.

The Chicken Garlic Wrap didn't have a good balance of meat and chicken. There was too much chicken and barely anything else. The chicken was also too greasy and salty and overpowering. The Baba Ghannouj Small was also terrible - too sour and salty. It almost tasted as it has gone bad. I'm from the Mediterrabean myself and I spent my entire childhood eating baba ghannouj and I know it's not supposed to taste like this. 2 stars because the hummus was actually good, and the portions were decent size. However, I ended up throwing away half of the food as it was not enjoyable. Less salt, oil and lemon would have made everything taste much better.

I spent $26 for 1 dinner and my pita bread came in a plastic bag. It's hard to find quality nowadays even when you pay for it. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I wil try it again just not near closing time and I'll dine in.

Have tried many other kebab type restaurants and Babalu is the best. Although I like the idea of skewers of meat their combo plate is perfect for a summer meal. A little salad a little hummus and a lovely mound of rice and meat. Have read the reviews saying that the hummus is too bland but don't agree. I literally use my fingers to get every single ounce of silky perfection. Had to order a separate container just so I had enough.
