Bar Barone makes and delivers the BEST soups. Nutritous, just like Nonna made. My fave is the Lentil Soup which comes with LOTS of delicious chopped veggies, and 2 slices of lightly grilled sourdough. The sourdough is to scoop up the veggies with! They stick in the bubble holes of the bread, which is stiff so you don't even really need a spoon as such. The broth is tasty and yummy with some flavour I can't guess, and it even has a little yummy black pepper! SUCH as awesome winter meal. Must eat in 1 sitting, so please be HUNGRY WHEN ORDERING! :) My dasher was prompt and helpful, too. Found me and sent the photo. TY, Dhurba!
The Red Velvet Lattes were very small, VERY PINK and very milky, could not taste any coffee at all. And they were only warm. Shrug.

I love the soups. Reasonably priced and always a good confort food I keep coming back too. Veggies and proteins always taste lovely. Good portion size for me too. The orange juice was also amazing and just what the doctor ordered - fresh orange juice for the win!

Chicken Soup is nutritious and great tasting! Well-packaged, it has chicken pieces pre-grilled then plonked into the yummy soup.
The BEST THING: THE fresh VEGGIES in the soup. Same with Lentil soup: the best thing is the veggies in it on a cold winter's day.
"Spinach" was an OMELETTE. Lovely, arrived hot.
The salad I will ask to be not drenched in vinaigrette next time, I prefer that on the side; and it's surprisingly too expensive.
All in all, Bar Barone are fabulous. TY

Pappardelle Al Ragu is a heavy pasta meal with lots of well-cooked meat. Amazing. Cannot eat it in 1 sitting. May need fresh greens with it as well.
Capricciosa pizza was delicious, if base got a bit soggy (too thin). All the yummy dough was in the bulky crust which was nice to finish afterwards.

Pumpkin soup is very nice and thick, just beware it has NIL veggies. Same 2 slices of yummy sourdough, however no sour cream. Suggestion for restaurant: If served like this, have it delivered in a VENTI coffeecup size and spare the large aluminium bowls! TY
Cotoletta is a CHICKEN Schnitzel (uncertain from the online description k- I had to test it), heavily crumbed, very thin. Comes on a bed of fries, filling the bowl to the brim.
Italiana salad is again chockers with lots of greens - mostly baby rocket lettuce. Not so keen on rocket.... This Italian salad also has too-raw carrot rings and unexpected halves of marinated olives, so it's a hybrid salad that was ok, but just ok for me. I'd have liked iceberg lettuce. And honestly, the serving is too large of something I didn't enjoy that much, haha. Oh well.
Tiramisu is awesome, comes in a clear cup, has no lid - just the powdered cocoa to finish it off. TY Bar Barone!
