churros were horrible. Tasted like fried bland dough. Ugh needs improvement.

Everything tasted fresh. Guacamole from the trio was tasty but not a lot is included in the container. Similarly, there wasnt a lot of either of the salsas in the trio. The chips in the trio also tasted fresh but not enough provided for my tastes. The pomegranate limonada was tasty AND not super sweet. The cauliflower taco pack was my least favorite. There was enough filling but something about the flavor I didnt like but I think it may have been the tortillas and not the filling that was the issue. cucumber salad was tasty and not sweet and filled the container (same container size as the salsas)

Portion sizes continue to shrink. Half filled tacos and teeny "large" salads.

Food is great but $13 for a scoop of rice and 5 small pieces of meat. I got a generous portion of 3 pieces of cilantro. I put the spoon there for size. It's a small bowl. Sad

Completely disappointed, time and time again. An insane amount of money for NOT a lot of (quality) food/consistency.
Bartaco loyal here of ~7 years. DC location is tragic. If you consider eating here, only do so IN PERSON. Bartaco take out is a serious form of explotation.
Staff *always* forgets something ordered (actually) and proportions are a joke. The sauces are free but each time I order, those are also forgotten and/or I receive an extremely small plastic container with 1/2 squirt of the sauce included. The sauces are what makes wasting your money here worthwhile, until they are forgotten too! Ordered a Mexican Coke and got a regular vending machine can (not even cold), in my latest order.
If you're over it too, I highly recommend Republic Cantina as a replacement. Better quality, much larger porportions, and more bang for your buck. And I swear to the Baja Fish Taco gods that this is not a paid advertisement.
