I am Greek and cook mostly Greek dishes. The food at Emis is some of the most authentic tasting Greek food in this area. In fact, the chicken souvlaki is the best I've had in this country, and I have been to many states coast to coast. Bravo!

I love this store and order often but I was disappointed with the mousaka. It was a little bland (there wasn't any cinnamon or allpice) and the meat was overcooked. My piece also had more potato than eggplant, a big no no. I'll stick with the chicken souvlaki which is excellent.

I've ordered from here numerous times and everything I've gotten is very good. I'm in love with the Fig Cardamom Oat Milk Latte. I usually get my Latte with vanilla, but this is my new favorite. The scones are a proper scone, and very good, love the Cinnamon Scone. And don't sleep on the BEC!
