Everything was great. The Jollof Rice Combo with Beef Suya was delicious with just the right amount of kick. The Mac and cheese is legit, no issues like I saw in other reviews. Even the Cornbread was moist and perfectly cooked. We are adding City Chef to our list of go-to restaurants in Bowie.

When I learned this spot was African inspired, I wasted no time to support my fellow Africans. Food is tasty! Seasoned well, as we know how! The Mac and cheese is cheesy and yummy. Looking forward to placing my order for my deep fried turkey!

The beef suya is the best I've had! The halfsmokes are delicious as well and the ribs were so tender! The Mac and cheese and collard greens were amazing and the portions are on point.
