• DoorDash order I really enjoy Cold Stone's sweet cream flavor. I have for years, when I was a kid it was a special treat (which I now understand because I'm the adult paying instead of the kid running to a swing or bench with my cone in hand) because despite how amazing it tastes.. its expensive!
Back to what I was saying, I have been very ill and have been using delivery services frequently because I’m too sick to drive myself.
I don’t like to complain but Im going to because I have had these two issues durung the last five times I’ve ordered. (I have ordered more often especially the last month or so I have lots of medical/ health issues. Ice cream is one of the few things I can eat dr approved and encouraged)
The first issue is the fact that the Everybody’s (triple pints) is $25.00 (which includes the ice cream and one mix-in of your choice) . The issue I have is that I order the ice cream plain with no mix-ins but the price stays the same. In my option the cost should be less. Considering the menu says that the one mix-in is included in the price (if you want more mix-ins you can add them for an extra charge) you should be paying less if you aren’t getting part of what you are paying for!
The other issue that I have is that again, the ice cream isn’t cheap at $25.00 anytime I used to go into the store to order they would make sure that they filled the container. They made sure that they packed it down to fill in any gaps and they also made sure it was full to the brim. However, since the pandemic and my health issues I started using services like door dash and every time I have ordered my ice cream I have has these same two issues! The containers aren’t ever filled full (they are usually 1-1.5 inches from being full and they often have unfilled corners but again, the cost remains the same.
