Ever since Cafe Rio went downhill years ago, I switched to Costa Vida. I found it to be fresher and better value for your money. That’s not the case anymore unfortunately, Costa Vida has gone the way of Cafe Rio before it. Ingredients are no longer fresh, portions are smaller, corners are cut. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a small pork salad on a Saturday afternoon (what you would assume to be a peak time for a restaurant). The salad was missing the tortilla entirely, and the rice and beans on the side of the quesadilla looked like someone had plopped one tablespoon of each in the container. The raspberry chipotle chicken inside the quesadilla was rock hard and had no flavor, and the quesadilla itself had essentially no cheese inside of it, so it was a tortilla with hard, flavorless chicken. In addition, the inside of my bag was soaked with liquid and the containers looked like someone had stepped on them. Guess I’ll be looking for a new place for my quick “Mexican” fix from now on.

perfect size. delicious flavors. I had the sweet pork with refried beans. next time I will get more of the tortilla chips for the crunch.

The chicken chipotle 1 A La Carte Taco (No Rice, No Beans) was not good I didnt ask for pico in it I said meat sauce and lettuce on corn torilla wasnt happen with meat on taco it was over cooked and hard. The Chips & Guacamole were okay chips had an old oil taste. The Quesadillas meat was hard and tough and never had that before. Kids Enchiladas was okay it was sauce and cheese
