First time eating El Gordo. I ordered a Combo Plate w/ a chicken flauta, tamale with beans and rice, 2 Deluxe American Beef Tacos and an extra Flauta. a large Dr Pepper. Everything was delicious. The tamale was big & the tacos were stuffed, although they didn't have guacamole as in the item description. Still very good! If they came with a crispy corn tortilla option that would have been even better. The flour tortilla was a bit chewy. The flautas were small, made with chicken breast and crispy, just right. The beans and rice were good. They included a little container of special sauce that complemented everything. I would def order from them again. I wish they used stickers or tape to help tamper proof your order. Never had issues but it makes me feel better. I didn't see an option to order a small container of red/green salsa that would have been nice. Overall, I am very pleased with the meal I got through DoorDash.

disappointed in today's order. two different tacos wrapped in the same aluminum small foil all squashed up together. chicken fajita plate had good flavor but for almost $18 not worth what you get. flour tortillas were thin greasy and had some black flaky stuff all over them.

I've ordered from here several times and have always enjoyed the food. Until today I have never seen this. My Birria Tacos and even the consumme was full of fat. 3 of the tacos was full of fat with small pieces of meat. The consumme was just a cup of oil along with the fat. Whoever prepared this could clearly see this. They have sadly lost a customer.

Not just another Mexican restaurant. The food is spectacular!! In additon to being lightening fast, it is arguably the least expensive restaurant on DD. They also remain open longer (aside from the 24 - hr locations) so theyre able to whip up anything from Migas to Fajitas. Add their 'water of the Day' or Agua Fresca to the top of your list. This naturally sweetened, fruity concoction is truly a Nectar from the Gods.

The best quality food we've had since moving here three years ago. Everything was very fresh and lots of flavor. Even their sweet tea was the best in town!! My only minor complaint is that you can tell they cook their fries in the same oil as they cook fish in. So my husband wasn't able to eat them. I was given a small queso instead of a Chips And Melted Queso Large. But I'm sure it wasn't intentional.
