El Jefe never disappoints. I had El Jefe Bowl, it was best chicken salad bowl ever. Ingredients were fresh, chicken was tender and big portions. They also don't skimp on salsa like some other popular taco joints in area(Tacos de Patron). This is my new favorite taco truck reasonably priced, good fresh portions and delicious!

coming from Arizona I'm very picky on my Mexican food. it took me 2 years to find something that I could enjoy. the charcoal cooked chicken is fantastic. the $10 MEAT SALAD with chicken enough to share with someone and the 4 TACOS BIRRIA & CONSOME is fantastic

The 4 QUESABIRRIA & CONSOME is AMAZING. The tacos are stuffed with meat and the broth is delicious. Everything from this restaurant has been incredible.

The 3 QUESABIRRIA & CONSOME was pretty tasty, and I like that the consume was included. I've been wanting to try CHAMPURRADO for a while, and this was my first time, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it's DELICIOUS! Super rich with lots of wonderful chocolate and corn flavor, and not too sweet. And they gave me a huge cup of it (I think it's 24oz), so I'll definitely have some with breakfast tomorrow too!

El Jefe is 100% the boss place for good Mexican food. Best carnitas I've had since moving up from LA. Wonderful salsa verde, good beans and a nice chunky guacamole. I have got to try their chicken next!
