• DoorDash reviewI was stuck in the area this past Christmas because of the Southwest cancellations, which meant I'd be missing Christmas with my family. For my family and I, as Texans, Christmas means tamales. I was sitting around scrolling for food when I came across this restaurant and realized I could have a little bit of home with me for Christmas after all. And the food was wonderful! Missouri Mexican food is usually absolutely god-awful, but this restaurant's food is the exception. I enjoyed every single thing I ate - fajitas, rice, tamales, flan, pico de gallo. Unfortunately the salsa took a spill in transit and I didn't get the chance to try it, but it definitely smelled good! When I'm back in the Cameron area, I'll be sure to try this place again. I'm so grateful to the lovely people here who made my Christmas a little less sad.

• DoorDash orderThe Sweet Tea wasn't great and was all ice. There were no silverware to eat and no napkins at all. The salsa was bland and tomato tasting only. The chips were cold and stale without salt. The Steak Jalisco was watery with some gristle in the steak, very tender and tasty - well seasoned. The El Toriado meal lacked cheese and bacon, but the shrimp was good.
