The El Patron Platter Special was a perfect blend of delicious proteins and vegetables in a creamy cheese sauce. The rice was cooked to perfection. It was an amazing medley in the mouth. The portion was more than generous. It also came with very soft tortillas and a bag of chips and salsa. Will definitely reorder.

This used to be the place we could count on to be consistent. Now that tkey moved to a bigger location, the food has been incorrect or just different now. The beans were clearly scorched tonight, yet they served them anyway. My $22 El Jefe Platter had maybe 2oz. of meat in it today. Very disappointed for the third time in a row. Third strike and you're out el Patron. Do better.

Greasy and flavorless. I am still on the hunt for good authentic mexican and will continue to look after this place. The carne Tacos de Asada did not taste like it was marinated at all, only flavor came from the onion on top. The El Patron Platter Special was incredibly greasy and again flavorless, all the pepper and tomatoes blend together and get mushy in your mouth after the first bite, and again, little to no spice or flavor at all. The Choriqueso wasso greasy and dull it resembles any store bought comparison. I wish we liked the mexican street corn but its literally canned corn, with mayo and cotija on top - no cilantro, no lime, and no chili!! We stirred it up thinking it just wasn't mixed but still it was flavorless. We even tried to use the salsa and guac to ad flavor to our order, but both felt watered down and without anything but tomatoes and avocado. So disappointing considering the portions seemed reasonable and larger than similar restaurants. Cant recommend this place at all because nothing made up for anything we ordered. ended up paying 70 for inedible mush.
