Fire house is a step above. The other sub places. I had the French dip. It was as good as I've ever had. I'll make this my go to sub shop.

They forgot to give me the chips I ordered and the meat on the subs was almost entirely gristle. I'd heard Firehouse was good through social media and this was honestly terrible. Very bland, bad meat, and too much money for what these are. Not worth it at all and I wont be coming back.

The Turkey Bacon Ranch sub is delish! I went out on a limb in deciding to try the chili, because lets be honest - nothing is better than my home cooked chili ;)
I'm not a hot-spice fan ((but can also take a litle heat) just no real hotsauce on a rediculosly insane Scoville level for this old broad!) the flavor of the initial bites of the chili are quite good to be honest, but I think because of the level of spiciness, it kicks you in the throat like a sucker punch and then leaves this sort of funny after taste in the mouth. Not sure if I'm THAT much of a softie when it comes to a little heat, this - it's kind of over the edge for me personally. If the initial taste of the chili before the kick of heat l, was the taste throughout the bowl, we'd be golden! But when there is such a strange kickback from heat, it messes with the flavor! And I love chili, it's just this one - too much heat and weird aftertaste . Hope this review helps someone else decide if they're coming to my place for my homemade chili instead!
