Firewater is THE BEST! I love their sauces and the meat is always cooked to perfection. The Corn Bread is super moist and delicious. This is my go to BBQ joint.

More of a 2.5 or of 5. Not 'poor' but not exactly good either. Bread pudding was tasty and a huge portion - worth the price! Beef brisket is my last favorite of places I've tried so far. First brisket I've had that required a knife. The smoke flavor was a bit too much for my liking, but that's the only flavor I got from the meat. There was no 'bark' per se and the fat did not melt as it's supposed to. I chose coleslaw for the side and it had good flavor. It was just as described; creamy.

smoked wings - memorable and you want to keep them around like a cool uncle, burnt ends - like your 4th grade best friend that you sometimes keep up with, it was great at one point but you found better, smoked sausage - comfy, thoughtful and made with love like that hat your nan knitted but you wouldn't be caught outside enjoying it as much as you do. corn bread - my partner said it was better than our evenings, they're my ex now. rd3 - what wendy's wants to do with their specialty burgers. baked beans - it's like yearbook club, it's okay but you're really there to make yourself look good in the end. potato salad - better than your nan's just don't tell her that. taffy apple bread pudding - buy 5 of these and bring them to a book club, you'll be the baddest b on the block

The pulled pork is my favorite! Add their barbecue sauce and it's perfect. Their HEALTHY cornbread portions are delicious!
