• DoorDash orderHave been ordering #2 and it's perfect every time. The burger is fantastic, the fries are so petite and adorable - I would argue one of the best (if not THE best) fast food fries on the market. The chocolate malt 10/10. Freddy's blows Culvers out of the water. I work nearby but live in Oshkosh - it is honestly worth driving if out of door dash range.

Freddy's ingredients and preparation are just as good, if not better. The French fries are my favourite; period. The ice cream menu is as satisfying as Culver's custard menu. And all this delivered for less than picking up from these other, 2nd choice , establishments.

• DoorDash orderummm $8 for each of these? I can't believe that tiny mixer with 3 gummy worms or they hype it up and call it Dirt 'n Worms was $8?. i thought there was a mistake but nope they really charge $8 for a little cup. ill stick to culvers.

I will say I have only ever gotten the onion rings (which I love), not fries so I can't speak to the fries. The bacon and cheese burger is fantastic. The shakes - great. The chili dogs, great. I'd take this over Culvers any day.

• DoorDash reviewet me say first say I consider "fast food", to be anything that means food I don’t have to cook. It's also known as a TREAT to the kids. I do not care AT ALL about the commas & zeros in the bank account or lack there of etc. because it's not part of the decision-making. A treat sometimes is selfish because I don’t want to cook - I'm ok w/being honest and human :-) It’s how I was raised. That said...
I’ll keep this first part brief because it belongs in feedback for that company. Just to help you visualize the contrast, a few details from a terrible experience that lead to an awesome blessing in disguise!!
My son asks me to go to a buffet w/a drive-thru spot regularly. He's relentless. So it being a treat he's received plenty of no’s from me. That spot for me is typically a subpar experience across the board from ordering to driving away. After this last visit which was so bizarre - NEVER AGAIN!
-We left there without ordering and ta-da!! I see a Freddie’s sign! We pulled into THEIR drive-thru with wide eyes at the menu selection. Being our first time at Freddie’s, it felt so hard to decide because EVERYTHING looked delicious and the selection was unreal.
First impressions truly are everything & they nailed it. Taste, presentation, smiling staff, and overall just felt like it was not a normal fast food experience. At the end of the day we definitely ordered way more than we needed for just us. Lots of leftovers haha but NO REGRETS!! Teenager gives 2 thumbs up himself! So obviously the food was awesomesauce.

-My favorite foods so far have been the French Onion Burger, Onion rings tied with cheese curds, and the desserts?? Holy cannoli we’ve tried a few and no disappointments. I think my favorite dessert was the concrete custard that the awesome and helpful young man working the drive through helped me put together. He was beyond patient with all of my questions and if you’ve heard “service with a smile” well it isn’t limited to face to face interactions. I could hear his smiling face when he spoke. Thank you!!! :-) (note below on pricing if you want my 2 cents).
As a considerable amount of time in kitchens big and small for a decade or so, never fast food but I don't think that matters here. I feel confident giving my response to the biggest and only complaint I've heard. I have personally worked in kitchens that 100% serve(d)overpriced menus. I felt gross doing it. At Freddie’s the price 100% matches the menu.
If you choose fast food and you want to pay less then by all means you can go somewhere else paying less, and not much less money actually, then by all means do it. Just prepare to get sloppy fast food with cheap ingredients and a 50/50 shot at your order being correct w/shotty customer service.
If you want quality in the food, flavors, fresh ingredients & a 100% chance of quality customer service from start to finish, then spend a few extra bucks and go to Freddie's.
