Love this pizza, especially the crust - thick yet crispy on the outside like a good loaf of San Francisco sourdough bread. Gianni's is a gem that is tucked away near the Home Depot on Vista. Excellent place for takeout. They even have a long vegan menu.

I ordered the one Froman Pesto Calzone it was a large size with sliced mushrooms, sausage, onions, melted mozzarella cheese and spinach .

Salad with the dressing was very healthy and very good . The Cheese Garlic Bread was toasted with melted Mozzarella Cheese. This Garlic bread was very delicious! I also ordered 2 different desserts. The first dessert was the 2 Chocolate Brownies and the one Marscapone Layered Cake. My total bill was $39.90.
These two Brownies are moist with s rich and yummy chocolate flavor. The Limoncello Layer Cake was one of my favorite desserts. This Limoncello Marscapone Filling in between 3 Layers was also

WOOOOOOW! Finally found a pizza that wasn't dried out with so little sauce that it evaporates into the crust. Just like slices I used to get anywhere in Philly,Boston,Jersey. Thin crust. Not over doughy. Great sauce. And the "piece de resistance" is....fold it. Have a napkin in the other hand to. catch the oil from the pepperoni and cheese dripping off the slice. A delicacy back east that is rarely found out here. Keep it simple. Cheese or pepperoni. No need to add anything else.

Giannis never disappoints. The vegan veggie pasta was delicious and filling. They also give you a whole baguette on the side for your garlic bread!! This is one of my favorite vegan options in San Diego

Giannis is the best pizza I have tried in America. The ingredients are always fresh and high quality and the homemade dough is incredible. If you love eating pizza but hate feeling terrible after eating it because of low quality flour then you will be in for a real treat going to Giannis because post-pizza you will still feel great! Best pizza in America.
