Hahdough is one of the best bakeries in town! All that buttery flaky goodness holding exquisite fillings can't be matched by any other bakery in town. German pastry is very different from French pastry which has dominated SF for decades. Both are fantastic and both contribute to the culinary wealth that typifies San Francisco. I just wish DoorDash drivers wouldn't crush these delicate beauties. Today we got fragments of what we ordered. The air puffed structure of the pastry shells were flattened and fragmented. DoorDash needs to do a better job.

The picture is misleading. You are paying close to $10 for 1 slice. The description does say "slice" so I will acknowledge that the written part is not misleading. However for the amount of cake you get compared to how much you pay after fees and tip is a bit of a beesting :) flavor is ok. Might order again if I can walk into the bakery but not on DoorDash.

Satiated my craving AND they gave me an (hopefully intentional) extra pretzel in a flavor I didn't order. Flavor packed and fresh outer skin with a bouncy and pillowed interior.

amazing food every time! love trying different cakes and pastries, and their Pretzel Roll (Salted) and Mozarella / Tomato Pretzel Roll Sandwich are so good

The Sachertorte Cake Slice was fantastic, would absolutely order again. The Schwaerzwaelder (Black Forest Cake) - Slice was pretty good and not too sweet but the frosting was not my favorite, the Mozarttorte Slice was nice, but not something I would reorder, and the Herrentorte (Gentleman's Cake) Slice was incredibly dry and not flavorful--would not order or recommend.
