First time ordering Indian food and this is SO good. Super good portions too i defI did mhave leftovers. M edium heat on the Chicken Makhani and it has a good nice heat to it. The hot option for sure would've been super spicy. Garlic Naan was super good and a good garlic flavor

Everything I ordered was subpar Saag Shrimp Lamb Saag Aloo Paratha Paneer Paratha Bhatura Naan. the lamb had five small pieces of meat which were cooked in a crock pot and left in all day extreamly dry meat. the bread had no cheese in it or potato. if you want really good Indian food order from Amruth on swansons better quality and quantity of food. We did not receive two of the items we ordered and what we got was not worth the price.

I have ordered many authentic dishes from India Star and all of them have been delicious. I've tried other India Restaurants and this is my favorite by far. My favorites are lamb biryani or chicken biryani paired with murg Naan or mirchi Naan. Don't forget a mango shake for the kicker 😀

Spices of Nepal was closed, so I thought I would order from this store since they had similar items. They sent the Mixed Pakora and Vegetable Samosa without any sauces... which wouldn't be as upsetting if I hadn't asked for EXTRA sauce. The sauce is one of my favorite things. Gulab Jamun is one of my favorite things and they sent TWO little balls. That's it. The Kheer/Rice Pudding was incredibly runny and bland. I added cinnamon to it and poured in the honey sauce from the Gulab Jamun and then it wasn't terrible. The quality compared to Spices of Nepal is sad considering it is more expensive. The Mango Lassi was good. Unless this place is super close to you I recommend Spices of Nepal instead.

Maharaja Dinner (Non-Vegetarian for 2) they give you so many options for your entrees most restaurants do not do that and the portions were absolutely amazing especially for the appetizer items I was extremely pleased with the food
