Great restaurant with amazing staff and delicious food. Wonderful place for authentically spiced cuisine. Add the green sauce for a bouquet of flavor. Add the orange sauce for intense spice. Oakland is blessed to have at least one place (Kamdesh) that does not cater to the bland western pallet.

I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently delicious, the portions are solid, and there's nothing quite like it in the area. Before the pandemic, I'd go to the restaurant but I've been ordering here since then. Happy to say that everything is well packaged and arrives hot and neatly organized. I recommend the Eggplant Borani. So good!

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we won't order again. Every dish was mostly rice with small amounts of meat. The chicken and beef were dried out and tough. The eggplant and dumplings were literally swimming in grease. Everything tasted the same. So disappointing.

The 12. Lamb Korma Challow was delicious! The meatwas soft and perfectly seasoned. Would give five stars but the 09. Kamdesh Special House Salad did not come looking like thosand some of the lettuce not fresh and slimy.

Amazin quality and amazing prices! Wow I tried the kebob, salad, aush, eggplant, bread, pastry, all were so delicious and tasted homemade. Well done! Will definitely be ordering again. Keep up the good work guys. Awli awli!
