The new L&L in San Clemente exceeded our expectations! The BBQ Chicken & Katsu from the Half & Half Combo & BBQ Chicken plate were perfectly cooked, tender, juicy & flavorful. Not to mention when it comes to portion size, your definitely getting your money's worth here as L&L is known for their generous plate lunches. We'll definitely be back sooner than later! Aloha

I feel like our order could've been better. Half & Half Combo had little to no beef and veggies might as well have not added it (broccoli stems only). Salad was ok and missing dressing and brown rice for the Lighter BBQ Chicken. Teriyaki sauce wasn't flavorful and very watery. Way too overpriced for the quality received. Pretty disappointing.

BBQ Short Ribs Mini plate came with one(1) piece of meat and the chicken katsu came with no katsu sauce. I unde the mini plate is a smaller portion but it was maybe 3-4 bites of meat in total for $11+. The location on alicia pkwy is 10x better

the BBQ Chicken Mini is so perfectly cooked and the mac salad was fantastic! I will be ordering again soon! also ordered a little extra shrimp and I'm blown away

Forgot our Chicken Katsu order which is what my kids ordered. Saimin bbq chicken was inedible - way too salty. We like salty but the saimin was so salty that we couldn't eat it. We diluted it and still every bite was salty. BBQ Chicken and BBQ Short Ribs were fine, mac salad was fine, musubis also fine, Disappointed with our first order at this location especially since we were so excited to have them closer. Hope they fix their salt level in their Saimin w/ BBQ Chicken.
