• DoorDash orderThere are many great Mexican restaurants in Long Beach and La Chancla is certainly one of them. What sets them apart are 2 things (1) attention to detail (2) variety of offerings.
(1) Everything ive ever ordered was packaged thoughtfully and came fresh and delicious. The Burrito Carne Asada al Carbon I ordered had a toasted and crispy tortilla. The tacos come in hand made tortillas. The Any 2 Chanclazos with Rice & Beans Combo have a layer of toasted cheese that envelops your filling of choice. Attention to small details that enhance the meal.
(2) They have filling offerings you dont see everywhere. Namely the molé, tinga, and rajas. All are delicious, but my personal favorite is the rajas. Vegetarian options are rarely my first choice, but their rajas are my hands down favorite. So good.
I'll continue to order from La Chancla and I will continue to be satisfied.

• DoorDash orderChips & Guacamole is A++ lots of onions if thats how you like it you'll love it! one of the best birrira queso tacos i ever had tbh! ( and Side Birria Consommé is exactly how its supposed to be size and taste! baja tacos amazing . these are huge portioned tacos! i got the 3 Tacos Combo with Rice & Beans its worth ever dollar and tip! if youre trying to figure out if you should eat here or somewhere else, dont chance it elsewhere. theres no way anyone could be dissatisfied unless they like unflavored fast food !!

• DoorDash orderNormally, awesome. Off night today? Both of the shrimp tacos only had two, nickel sized shrimp in them, that's all. There's usually a lot more than that. So, a little disappointing. Still very tasty, and we hope it will be back to normal next time.

• DoorDash orderI bought $60 worth of wood, 2 Any 3 Tacos Combo with Rice & Beans and 1 Taco Mole. We received TWO salsas for all the tacos we ordered. The tacos were lacking seasoning except for the tinga. The birria was DRY and the 3 skinny slivers of lime we received werent enough for all the food. Im extremely disappointed. For the price, i would have expected better quality and at least a salsa per taco. Havent tried the desserts yet but i hope its not as disappointing.
