A pleasant surprise! The mumbo sauce is a sweet bbq sauce, just the tiniest bit spicy. It was good on the brisket and for dipping fries. The empanada crust was thin, but held up well. The shredded brisket empanada, like everything else, was hot, fresh, and tasty. The fries were fresh and crisp, best I've had in a very long time. The apple empanada was good, a fitting dessert for a delicious, reasonably-priced meal. I'll order from Lara's again.

First time ordering from here. Wanted to try something different. It was not at all worth the price. The "Mumbo" was the size of my toddlers hand and the bread looked pale. The quesadilla was so salty and loaded with more cheese. Should have just stuck with Dee Willie's.

The Mojo Pulled Pork and Mumbo Brisket Empanadas were fantastic! The meat was juicy and flavorful and the pastry was flaky and tasty. The French Fries and Macaroni were good, but I'll probably skip the sides next time and double (or triple) up on empanadas.

The Grilled Chee Basket was very mid and just average. The Mojo Pulled Pork was awful I took like two bites and couldn't finish it. The brisket quesadilla was the best thing but not worth going out of your way for.
