Lupes has to be the best Mexican food in south OC. It hits the spot every single time no matter what you order. I personally prefer the California Burrito with carnitas because it is so juicy and with the fries and guacamole combined... absolutely bangin! Cant ask for a better, more affordable lunch amid a hard days work.

Tried three different burritos to share with the family and they were all really good! El Classico Breakfast Burrito with chorizo was my personal fave as it was satisfying and not too oily. Grilled Chicken Burrito was solid and had all the good ingredients. And one can never go wrong with a Cali Breakfast Burrito (with steak). Really filling and the portions are huge! One burrito was the size of my arm and I felt like it was good to share.

Really good food with tons of variety. I would like to say that there’s something on the menu for basically any customer to enjoy. I got the kid’s burrito with carnitas and a side of flan. Burrito was great, carnitas are a bit sweet so just keep that in mind. Really nice size for a kid’s meal, and the flan was delicious. Thank you!

I usually eat here at least two times a week. This most recent order was not good. Surf and Turf burrito was smaller, soggy, and didn't have its usual flavor. Both pastor tacos were all burnt bits and gristle with hardly any meat. Usually fantastic, but this order was horrible.

Ordered Lupe's Bowl with shrimp. It was better than I even expected!! Almost a dozen good sized shrimp with yummy greens, black beans, guacamole, ... Will definitely have this again!
