I LOVE Maria's. I dont even bother to try new Mexican restaurants on Doordash anymore because I know they could never compare.l because Maria's is the BEST, hands down. If youre craving Mexican food that has amazing flavor at affordable prices then quit reading reviews and just place your order already! You wont regret it.

This is the ONLY consistently good "fast food" type of restaurant that I order from. Maria's is ALWAYS hot, fresh & delicious which seems crazy these days considering how affordable it is & how much you get!

Burrito was greasy to the point that it soaked through the wrapper and got all over the inside of the bag. Came with tons of chips and about 2 oz of queso and my dessert was a completely different item with no communication from the store

I've been coming here the last half decade! Have yet to be disappointed with any of their offerings. I'm originally from New Mexico, lived in Phoenix as well, and Maria's reminds me exactly of the local spots back home. there are many great Mexican food places here in Des Moines. Maria's is definitely One of the best, especially if you want a drive-thru for to go orders! there's also ample room in this location to sit down with a friend or family for a nice meal! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful if you're more unfamiliar with certain types of Mexican cuisine.

Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito (Steak Burrito) however received a very salty birria burrito. I was very excited for my usual carne asada burrito, but ended up really disappointed. The Carne Asada Quesadilla was fine. The meat was a little dry unfortunately. I was thankful they put the avocado green hot sauce in for me, as it is by far my favorite!
