POLLO A MOJO was delicious, and this was a great 1st impression of the restaurant. Will definitely order from here again!

In one word: disappointed.
The GUACAMOLE was great and the plantain chips were crispy with just the right amount of salt.
The STEAK CHIMICHURRI was an incredible disappointment. If you're looking for a steak anywhere close to resembling what is represented in the photo, look elsewhere. This is NOT a beautifully sliced, inch thick, perfectly charred on the outside and pink on the inside steak.
In reality, this steak is wafer thin and not sliced but folded over. There is no char and it is basically brown all the way through. The flimsy plastic-ware they send will not cut through the steak. The flavor is fine. It is not over-seasoned but it's not anything special.
The green chimichurri sauce is very good while the red was a little too salty for my taste. The plaintains were great. They forgot to send the yuca.

this place has always been fabulous until today. the steak chimichurri was a chunk of fatty tough meat. when I've gotten it before it was sliced,lean meat like flank steak. today it was mostly inedible. veggies were mostly peppers. very little squash. tropical salad was amazing. as were the plantain chips and dip. overpriced for the quality of the main dish.

The Cuban Tamale was beyond excellent and the Havana Rumba sandwich with Yuca fries was amazing!! Will be ordering again soon
