Chicken was so crispy and amazing and the corn bread and yams was my favorite the mac and cheese was good and the collard greens was ok

the small Small Plate I chose the fried fish. it was pretty good. a bit overcooked for my taste but it was lightly seasoned so pretty good. the Mac and cheese was very good.
The Fried Shrimp also cooked hard, but seasoned so I enjoyed it. I wanted to try the peach cobbler but it was priced at $16. I assume that's an error in the app.

Sides were good, but I didn't like the bar b q chicken, its was just baked chicken with sauce and the sauce was not good. The baked chicken lacked good seasoning. The fried chicken lacked good seasoning also. It's like you put just one coverall premade seasoning on the chicken. The yams were great, not over sweetened. Black eyed peas were good, cabbage texture great but not seasoned well, greens were the best. Cornbread needed butter on it after it came out the oven. I will applaud them on giving me extra fried chicken. I only order an extra wing to see what it taste like and got 2 wings, 2 legs and 2 thighs. I was a door dash BOGO deal! I ate all the sides and fried chicken. It was the best tasting meat.

I ordered a small plate(fried pork chops Mac and cheese and yams and a roll), a side of potato salad and grape Kool-aid. I'm on the fence about the taste of the pork chop however I did finish it. Also, there was only one & with the menu stating chops I was expecting 2 which is what most places serve and I received cornbread instead of a roll. The Mac and cheese was really good and so were the yams. The potato salad was too watery for my liking and the potatoes were cut a lot bigger than I'm used to so I wouldn't order that again. The grape Kool-Aid was delish. Overall

smothered pork chops best i have ever had. Everything I ordered was out of this world. Somebody's granny somewhere is very proud
