Large portions, well packaged and tasty. Miso Soup was delicious as was the Tonkatsu Curry Rice dinner. Reminded of home. Will order again soon.

Tempura Veggie Roll is very greasy and essentially tasteless they're also so thin and overfilled they're pinwheel sized and take two bites defeating the point of a roll. The Vegetable Roll is okay but some pieces have such large chunks of lettuce, it's difficult to take the bite.

The Mexico City roll tasted good and was the perfect size. The cilantro gives the roll an interesting depth of flavor. However, the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll and Eel & Avocado Hand Roll were disappointing. They were filled with entirely too much ingredients for a traditional hand roll which caused them to become soggy more quickly and the delicate flavors to become lost. I know it's strange to complain about getting too much for your money, but in the case of sushi, bigger is not always better. We prefer traditional sushi sizes because we like to sample an array of small dishes and flavors. Too big and everything gets lost. In this case we could have each just eaten the hand rolls and have been full.
I'm sure most Americans would appreciate the size, but for us, we would have preferred something more petite.
Also, the sushi rice was not as seasoned as it could have been which contributed to a lack of flavor.

So good!! I had the Vegetable Roll and the Tofu Avocado roll. Both were delicious and beautifully made. The Miso Soup is also excellent. I asked for a side of unagi sauce and they added it for free, which was very kind. Thank you Nara Sushi team!

Nara Sushi is one of my favorite sushi places in Folsom. I ordered from them for the second time on DoorDash and I was very satisfied with their food and service. As usual, the mixed raw fish don was fresh, flavorful and satisfying. I also tried the chicken teriyaki for the first time and I was impressed by how tender, juicy and well-seasoned it was. The rice was moist and cooked perfectly (I assume they use quite a good grade rice or know how to cook the rice properly) and the teriyaki sauce was fairly balanced of soy sauce and sweet. It was a bit sweeter for me, but not too much compared with all the other teriyaki places I’ve been to. What I liked most about Nara Sushi was how the owner or the chefs there did such a great job following my request. I could feel a lot of caring in that dish. The delivery was quick and the driver was courteous. They also have some other sushi and Korean dishes that look tempting on their menu. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would definitely order from Nara Sushi again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys sushi and Asian cuisine.
