The chicken heart win me over every time. I wish they would have paid attention to my request for rare on the 1 lbs Your Choice of Meat (Mix). It was still season great and tasty. I think dine in is a better option than take out

steak was really good and so were the fries and rice, fhe pasta was okay. I got the two meat combo and they gave me less then a link, which didnt seem worth the price difference to me. Overall really good tho :)

Our experience with Oliveiras tends to be hit or miss with their food quality being very inconsistent. Some days the meat and sides are fantastic - today was not one of those days. Our combo 1 and combo 3 came with noticeably smaller portions of what felt like "scraps". The meat was cut poorly, tough, overcooked, and under seasoned. The cheese bread was severely undercooked and we ended up unable to finish it. The texture of the flan felt very strange - almost like brie cheese and as if it were several days old with the caramel more of a gelatinous slime. The fruit was good as usual, and the salad was particularly good this time with fresh lettuce and flavorful parmesan.

The food from this place is more like home cooking compared to most places. Every time I order, I ask myself why I dont eat there more frequently. The combos are also really flexible so you can get whatever you want.
My order varies a bit, but will always include cheesey bread (a must from place like this), spicy sausage, beef stew, red beans (in a sauce) and rice.
Compared to pricey and over-engineered food in Kendall square, I prefer this
