The first Ollie's restaurant opened in 1989 with the goal of bringing cuisine from Chinatown up to the Upper West Side. It wasn't long before…
One of my favorite spots on the UES. The service (dine in, pick up, and delivery) is fantastic, food reminds me of my grandfathers cooking, portions are generous and even my entire staff loves them too! My favorites are the scallion pancakes, soup dumplings, spareribs and their noodles.

The A9. Wonton in Hot Sesame Sauce (6) tasted good, but the emphasis on "hot" is a bit much. It tasted more like a peanut butter sauce that had no spice in it. But again it tasted good and they gave me 7 instead of 6. The 904. Sauteed Udon Noodle was bland. Normally ollies does a lot better than this. Hopefully it's just a one off

I have received a number of times vegatable dishes that are 90% brocolli even though the menu says "mixed" vegatables.I am not a fan. Plus the serving sizes are really small for $12-14. Noodles have no sauce just little packets of soy sauce. My first order of steamed dumpling were very good which is why I gave them 3 stars.
