With a bowl of noodles, sliced pork, and veggies–all served in a boiling hot broth–Oozu Ramen has been elevated to exquisite cuisine in Japan. In Oozu Japanese Ramen, there are three basic broth types…
Honestly, best ramen in C-U hands down, every time I come here it just gets better, the restaurant has a very authentic Japanese "ramen bar" feel and it's about as close as you can get to the real thing in the middle of the US. I HIGHLY recommend the Traditional Tonkatsu ramen if you've never been or the spicy miso if you're a little under the weather. Nothing but great things to say about this place, and the service is phenomenal to top it off!

The flavor was phenomenal and the egg cooked perfectly, but the pork was the thinnest pork slices I have ever had in a ramen bowl. Ever. Think deli thin. Had I known, I would have ordered extra. Too much noodles and not enough protein.

my own fault, but I didn't realize I had ordered the R5. Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen (Kimchi Ramen) . WHOOPS. Kimchi is not usually my thing because I don't like cabbage. BUT this was pleasantly surprising. I wouldn't order it again, but I'm not mad at my accidental order. The broth was excellent, the egg perfect. the kimchi...was kimchi, which is the best review I can give it.

Their secret seasoning is curry but I'm not mad. The 6. Chicken Karaage was pretty great. I love thigh meat and the curry-ish seasoning was great. My adventurous toddler loved it. The 8. Pork Bun(2pc) were delicious but soggy by the time they arrived.

We've been ordering from Ozu since 2016 and I've loved the service. You had solid portion sizes at a relatively reasonable price.
My only gripe with take out: The portions were cut to <2/3rds or 1/2 of the original portion sizes I've been accustomed to having. With inflation, I completely understand the need to raise the cost to match this... but with less food compared to a few years ago, I would say that it's kind of just "ok." The food isn't bad, but the quality went down a bit. I'll still order from Ozu because I've had their food for so long, but I'm pretty sad seeing the quality drop.
