The -Brisket Burrito- is a great wY to get both their brisket (which is tangy and tender and really yummy) and their potato casserole which is my favorite side of theirs. The -Cornbread Muffins- are good but the apple butter is spectacular.

I decided to try Phoebe's for the first time and much to my surprise, it was a big disappointment. The side of brisket looked more like soup with a little meat in it. It was beyond dripping in sauce. I assumed I would get brisket and a side of sauce or brisket with some BBQ sauce on it but not swimming in it. I have a few dietary restrictions and had to throw this away since I had no idea how much sugar or oil might be in the sauce and what the oil was. There wasn't much meat mostly sauce. The size of the drink (iced tea) was a kid size for $4. For this price or $4 & change, I typically get between a 24 oz to 30 oz tea at the many other restaurants I order from. The drinks need to be adult size. The scrambled eggs were good. Based on this experience, I doubt I will try this restaurant again.

The -Chile Relleno- wasn't what I expected the coating was hard like cornmeal and fell apart. The filling was just scrambled eggs. It was spicy, but in a good way, more like a gassy way. The cilantro was offputting with this dish. I didnt like the -Beet Hash- either. It was mostly greasy sweet potatoes. Im sure there are people that would like this food, just not me. Sorry.

I ordered the hot ham and cheese and tater tot casserole. the ham slices were thick and tough, the over easy egg was solid, the sauce on the ham was barely edible and the tater tot casserole was shredded potato in a funky tasting weird cheese sauce. I cannot recommend either item, I will not be ordering from here again

Flapjacks were divine like always, the large juice didn't come in a container like the picture but I think it was a large?
