very good. the soloro/sorrel drink was absolutely delicious. the one downside is that it's such a tiny serving. id be surprised if it was even 7 or 8 oz.
the food was spectacular. just the right amount of spice.

the friend yam in Fried Yam and Turkey Tail (Chofi) was great, good quantity, lightly salted (just right) but the turkey tail was all fat :( maybe I misunderstood what it was supposed to be but out of the 5 or so pieces, I literally could only eat 1 piece, the rest was just animal fat. It was very disappointing. The White Rice and Tomato Stew wasn't bad. Very spicy which was a plus and a good quantity BUT the beef tasted stale like it was made days ago and not properly seasoned so i couldn't eat that meat either. I feel bad writing this review since I love to support businesses that are catering to a need and we are in serious need of West African restaurants. My hope is that the review help them improve in what's not good so hopefully they can do better and well all benefit from it. Them from a booming business and me from getting great quality and delicious food.

It was just too much going-on eating this okra ( the big portion , the flavour ) woww as an African and a cooker that's the best okra stew I ever had in my enter life . Usually in my country we cook okra with groundnut oil but because of this one I think the palm oil is a better choice . Woww Red red you cooked this food with love.

For $8 I would hope for more rice. My meat pies are very dry and lacking flavor unfortunately.
Rice is flavorful but also dry. The juice however is delicious!

As this is a newer place. I really wanted to love it. However, for $18, the Jollof Rice that I received ws in a small and flat (think Chinese lomein noodle packaging) container of rice with one egg, three plaintains and ONE piece of fatty chicken is not worth it. I could've gotten at least half a chicken with multiple sides for less elsewhere. The Meat pie was the saving grace. I won't be ordering from here again.
