the Crowd Surfer Roll was amazing as ever. absolutely my favorite sushi spot. the white rice was also perfectly cooked, paired with the miso soup, absolute perfection. always impressed with this restaurant. their food is always consistent and delicious.

I got the shrimp solo and a sushi roll. It was okay at best. Definitely wasn't worth what I paid for it. I just now know for the future that if I want food that is better than okay, I'll get it from somewhere else. However, the reason I gave it 2 stars is because, again, for 22$ and being just okay, the portion size was small, so it wasn't even a deal.
Others might like this food, but there was no actual flavor in the food. the food was just covered in a sticky sauce full of sugar, not flavor.

I got the Thriller Roll , Jalapeño Poppers , and Spicy Tuna Roll . Everything was very tasty, though the Spicy Tuna Roll was like any other sushi place. The rest was definitely unique and stood out compared to other sushi I've had. The Jalapeño Poppers surprised me. Definitely the most interesting take on jalapeno poppers I've ever had. Only thing I disliked about the whole order was the proportions. I expected a little more for the price, but it is what it is, I guess.

The chicken hibachi basically is 4oz of chicken, tons of undercooked rice and undercooked vegetables. The yumyum sauce is weak. They didnt provide gluten free soy sauce. The eel roll was good but basically didnt have hardly any eel. For the prices they charge, they should give more food and maybe not spend so much on their nice to go containers and chopsticks. You're cearly paying for that stuff and not the food.
