The Rice Bowl with chicken and chimichurri is truly an unbeatable sf meal. It's not a ton of chicken (maybe 2-3 ounces), so if you're trying to get a lot of protein I'd do the extra chicken. I wish the bowl was like 10% bigger because it's hard to mix up without spilling. Pricing is confusing, the rice bowl is one of the most reasonably priced lunches in the city, but one head of Roasted Cauliflower costs almost the same amount. Still one of my favorite restaurants, can't recommend it enough.

Delicious, yet tiny servings. I got the fried chicken salad. They put the two servings of dressing in with the salad, taking up a ton of room in the to go box. I would not have paid +$2 for an extra dressing if I knew it meant less food. Also, I would have got the chicken on the side in hopes it would be warmer. Despite being cold, fried chicken was incredible.

WHERES THE MEAT?? Great presentation but literally 75% bone and only a solid 5 bites of chicken. Second time this has happened too (I hoped the first time was a one-off). Either lower your prices or increase your portion sides please, I love your restaurant but when the baked potato is bigger than half a chicken, this is a bad look

I get the chicken soup once or twice a week, usually ordering two bowls for delivery. The last two weeks, the restaurant has not sent the same generous portions as before instead sending less soup in each to-go dish with less quality soup. I've also found too many bones in the last two weeks' deliveries and the chicken has been paltry and small bits---not the big pieces of premium whole chicken that first got me obsessed with this chicken soup. Additionally, they have barely put any rice in the chicken the last two weeks. I suspect that this is a quality assurance difference between the NOPA location and the Hayes valley location. The NOPA location just is not as good as the Hayes location---their quality, freshness, and presentation always lag behind the Hayes location both in person and delivery. Their chickens never taste as fresh as the Hayes'. Instead of stellar like Hayes' RT's service, it's just mediocre. They Just disappointing for expensive food.

Tried the Chicken Soup for the first time and was delighted by how hearty and delicious it was. Satisfying meal on it's own, also great with a side of Cabbage & Almonds
