Sea Island did not become San Antonio's top seafood restaurant overnight! Tom Anthony opened the legendary Manhattan Café in downtown San Antonio in 1912, and we've been here ever since.
Dan, Tom's so…
The fish was surprisingly cripy and fresh. The shrimp were also very tasty. Certinly recommend!

lobster roll was tiny, bland and the bread was soaked to the point my fingers went right through it and it fell apart. the crust on the fried fish and shrimp was soggy. the fries were old, the Cup Shrimp Gumbo was mostly huge chunks of bell pepper. the key Key Lime Pie Slice didn't even taste like keylime. it just was not worth the money spent.

Beef Kabobs (2) tasted like the meat was rotten. It was fowl. The Grilled Shrimp (7) was way overcooked/burnt. The Colossal Shrimp (1) was okay but was soggy and the Stuffed Shrimp (1) was ok as well....The Strawberry Lemonade was about the only good thing from my entire order.
The food is way too expensive to obviously have no quality control before it leaves the restaurant.

The fish stunk up my place immediately. It wasn't fresh the rest of the food was just edible but not good at all. The ONLY thing that was so good I mean great was the hush puppies!

It's usually good. Today fries were hard, old and over cooked. Fish was good a little overcooked on the edges. Hushpuppies and shrimp were good.
