Love this place. The food is always great. The people that keep this place going are the best. Def .. a spot go anytime, but crawfish season its a go to!

The Side Catfish was VERY SMALL, rubbery, dry, and unseasoned. It was a great disappointment. The Alligator Tendies were really good and full of flavor. The Grilled Catfish Poboy was also seasoned very well. Idk what happed with the catfish, but everything else was pretty good.

it's okay. I had the catfish filets; tasted a little muddy. Even for bottom-feeders, it was more distinct and prominent than my other go-to catfish joints in the area. Unsure if it is a vendor issue, or maybe just a bad batch, but my eating companion had the fried shrimp. He mentioned the shrimp wasn't deveined properly. He had to separate the shrimp meat from the batter to try to enjoy it. it was okay, just overpriced for the quality.

I'm on a low sodium diet ask for sauce in the side. The crab was swimming in it. The crab tasted fishy. The queen crab wasn't any bigger than the snow crab and both stacks were so overcook that we didn't have to use crackers. Disappointing to spend this much money on a meal and come away hungry.

All the food was delicious, but the gumbeaux came with like 3 grains of rice which was disappointing and just had me wishing for more rice. The fried pickles were packaged in a way that they got soggy and mushy. I think the quality of the food is good but when ordered to go, quality suffers more than with other resturants. But again, it all tasted really good.
