Buying Shipley's as a treat for 20+yrs from the Josey & Trinity location. This Preston location, twice since they expanded.
This place needs coaching.
Create Your Own Mixed Dozen Donuts Box Had a cake donut,not ordered.
Fillings from Bavarian to Lemon tasted lacking, not like usual, more like cheap donut shops around the corner.
The powdered donut from the Create Your Own Mixed Half Dozen Donuts Box really showed the poor quality.
Old oil could taste the oil under the sugar w/every bite.
OIL NEEDED CHANGING.
How could you, let down Mr. Shipley. That man & his family worked hard.
I now think this is a franchise.
Would explain the poor quality of items , unique to this location.
NEVER AGAIN, NOT FOR TREAT.

I was looking forward to good Christmas do-nuts. I have ordered many times from Shipley and I am so disappointed in the changes that have been made. The do-nuts are so much smaller that it is obvious they have reduced the size. There is an after taste that never used to be there. I suspect they are using a cheaper shortening. I suspect it is not vegetable shortening. Then to top it all off, I ordered Chocolate Glazed Do-Nut Holes and received just plain Glazed Do-Nut Holes.

The saddest donuts ever. They taste frozen and heated up. Dry dry dry! Go a smaller local place if you want legit freshly cooked donuts! Saddest cinnamon roll ever too look at the icing :(
