Decent donuts; I'm from New Orleans and I've had Buttermilk Drop Bakery: compared to them Shipleys could use a lesson or two. This may be peculiar to read, but it felt/taste like it was missing a little love. Literally, just a pinch from somebody's mama ;D

Pretty sure my kolache was a hot dog with sliced jalapeños. Traveling through the area and have never seen them done this way.
