HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fantastic Burgers & homemade chips. Burger is enough to share or 2 meals.

STK used to be a huge five stars, but they've gone down hill a LOT in the last few months.
This particular time, well-done was barely medium (red in the middle). I ordered truffle fries ($22) ON TOP of the chips which come with burger. Last time, I got NO CHIPS or extra fries. This time, I got NO CHIPS, but what might be considered extra fries. However, the quality was at best ordinary fries (which I have had from STK), NOT truffle fries. Even when they are truffle fries, the quality is less than it used to be, certainly NOT resembling the picture on their menu.
I do have one caveat for this review. My last two orders have been mid-afternoon. It could be that whoever prepares food between about 2:00 - 4:30 just doesn't care what they serve.

Look, the steak was delicious. I mean, cooked properly, seasoned great. HOWEVER. Dont expect it to come sliced like the pics. NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL... but WAIT, there's more. I ordered a side of shrimp. LITERALLY GOT 1 SHRIMP. I can not make this up. I was absolutely STUNNED. & i know what youre thinking, but my bag was sealed very well. Not the dasher. This is ridiculous as a steak house. I definitely thought about driving over there.... it's the principle. Playing with people MONEY&FOOD is diabolical

This was the worst experience I've had with STK! Dined 3x & the food is always amazing. Decided to have it at home & it was a huge mistake. The Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes were kind of old , stale like, a little on the cooler side & not fresh.
The steak was a little tough to cut/chew even though it was "Medium Rare" & the outsides/edges were a little too burnt/crispy for my liking & the "burnt" taste interfered with the taste of the steak itself.
Overrall, highly disappointing for the price.

STK, makes the best Wagyu Burger & Chips . I am hooked! Real tender, juicy, tasty waygu for a reasonable price. An $11 dollar bite of ecstasy!
