This plce is pricey but the food is delicious! I'll start with the Fried Chicken with 2 sides that I really enjoyed. Chicken has a lovely color, its crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside- a bit messy (wet wipes would have been a good addition to the order) but worth it. The sides were great! The Yams were spiced and tasty, while the Mac & Cheese was pretty amazing (reminiscent of Sunday dinners with my Godmother's family) not the creamy sort, but packed with flavor! However, the highlight of my meal was most definitely the Banana Pudding that I only ordered because of the reviews as I thought the price point was high for such a simple dessert but now I understand. It was an absolutely delectable treat! It was creamy and bursting with flavor, the thinly sliced strawberries elevated the entire dish (I must admit I would have preferred more pudding and a bit less of the bread and cookies underneath, but that is just my preference). The pudding was clearly made in the container, layer by layer, with care and attention to detail. I will definitely order the pudding again when I try the shrimp and grits next time!

The food was good, but the experience was a bit disappointing . I ordered roast & veg & rice with sides of greens and yams. They called me and said they were out of the roast, I asked the options and much was unavailable, I ended up with sautéed shrimp which was very good and flavor and good portion size. They called me again and said they didnt have greens so I got broccoli, also very godoand well seasoned. They said nothing about the yams but I ended up with baked beans instead of yams for some reason. I didnt really want baked beans so im not sure how they are I put in fridge for leftovers. Food was good but a weird overall experience

Love the food it's seasoned to perfection. The fish is fried just right. Mac and cheese is slamming and so are the yams. You must try the banana pudding as well. I eat from here at least once a week.

Fried Haddock with 2 sides: fish was good, crisp and seasoned well. Mac was very good, yams were flavorful but dry - no syrup/sauce.
Ordered Cornbread but was not in my order.
Others raved about the Banana Pudding so I ordered even though it seems overpriced. Was ok, but didnt satisfy me enough considering the price to order again

EVERYTHING WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS & so much... it was hot & freshthe fried chicken hit the spot as did the whole meal...the peach cobbler was also delicious...EXCELLENT MEAL... I mean it wss good!
