You guys.....life isn't so bad. Everything is gonna be okay. Especially when food this good exists.

Do yourself a favor a skip on this spot. So poorly prepared, you won't even get what you think you're ordering. AVOCADO TARTINE was like someone just slapped a scoop of avo on toast didn't even bother to spread it. The supposed breakfast EGG SANDWICH went straight in the trash. I don't even know what that was supposed to be. Also the size of their $11 granola bowl is a joke.

The HALF COUNTRY loaf is epic. I order weekly and toast it for snacks in the evening, their jam is fantastic too. Avocado Toast is best here than other places. They do a seasonal topping changeon the avocado toast and arent stingy with the avocado unlike some other French bakeries that I won't mention here. We have tried 4 places and its Tartine for the win over and over again- top notch and great service every time- and yes we are from Paris so we have a pretty good idea of how to marry the French style to the California style! Others should take note around town because the bar is highly set with Tartine!

Quality. Real food. Really nice, nourishing bread.
The Pain au chocolat is the best chocolate croissant you can order to your home (on east side of LA at least). Though they're kind of dark/over baked.
The turkey club is good(hold the chicken skin for me),
salmon tartine is good(sometimes too much cream cheese).
Salads are okay (kinda small).
I'm sure the coffee is alright, but I don't like to order espresso.

I'm really enjoying this scrambled toast—it's so delicious! The latte can be hit or miss at times, but the food is always fantastic!
