Both things were perfect. The best Tom Yum you can get from any Thai place in Charlottesville. I've tried them all. I called and asked to add broccoli to my rice because there were no options to do so on the app and they did it free of charge. I truly appreciated that. Not only was the customer service great, the food was amazing and the Tom Yum was so comforting and they don't skimp on veggies. I've been eating here for a couple of decades now and it never disappoints.

This is our favorite restaurant in town. We try different things on the menu all the time because everything is delicious and so fresh. The chicken red curry and beef pad see ew were SO good. We always get the (uncooked) fresh spring rolls and the "fried egg rolls" (which are like what are called egg rolls at other places), and they arrive hot & delicious. We tried the chicken satay today and were VERY surprised -- maybe it didn't travel well but they were very dried out and barely edible. Didn't want to dock a star, though, because everything else is always so good. Felt like an anomaly.

The custard smelled and tasted like scrambled eggs. The pad thai was gritty, and the bit of chicken it did have was very dry. But the egg rolls were pretty good.

We love Thai 99 II ! Great dine-in experiences and food all travels well for delivery.
4 stars for this order bc Pad Thai w chicken was replaced with something else (something with wide, dense noodles... maybe pad see ew? More dense than we usually enjoy... plus had been expecting/looking forward to pad Thai 😉). That being said the accidental replacement dish was not bad & we were sharing all dishes family style.
Glass noodles were delicious, as was cashew chicken. Red curry with chicken was a big hit tonight w steamed rice.
