The steak Beef Kabob was incredibly tender and flavorful, the Chicken Shawarma was a combination of savory and fresh, and the Hummus was the perfect accompaniment to both dishes. This dinner far exceeded my expectations and I'm already planning on my next future order......chicken shawarma bowl and the kale salad. Absolutely delicious food and I would definitely recommend to anyone who can appreciate the flavors of this food. Thank you Cactus for bringing some good, different food to this desolate place. We lack variety and you are definitely a gem amongst stones. Keep up the good work and keep your prices affordable. I WILL be coming back for more!!!

• DoorDash orderThis is my second time ordering from the Cactua Bar restaurant, and this time, I have a rather glowing review. My first order with this restaurant was iffy at most, with the frankly offputting combination of salmon in a spicy quesadilla. However, I chose to not let my first order become my entire view of this facility, and this order has certainly proven that decision to be worth it. I ordered their Chicken Tenders entree, with the Side Macroni and cheese that I exclaimed in my previous review to be possibly the best restaurant made macaroni and cheese I've ever had, and for my dessert and drink I chose a slice of Cheesecake and a mango Smoothies. The chicken Tenders did not disappoint in the slightest. Perfectly crunchy and crispy, with the chicken inside still steaming and juicy even after a 20 minute ride from the Bar to my Belly. My only complaint, if you can call it one, was that the ranch sauce was quite runny and made for a messy dipping experience. Easily solved with napkins or a thicker recipe for ranch. My side dish, macaronu and cheese, was exactly the same as I remember. Extremely creamy, cheesy goodness with perfect al dente pasta of what appeared to be shells. The dessert of Cheesecake was delightful, with only a moderately overpowering flavor, but I will admit that it was quite sweet. Could be my taste buds, I don't know. Regardless, was creamy, I could taste the crust through the cheese, and it was very filling. My biggest complaint about my order this time around isn't to do with the entree like my last order was. It's the drink. Don't get me wrong, the drink I had, a mango smoothie, was tasty, but once again it was more akin to a melting slushy than a smoothie, and with absolutely no fruit pulp as I'd expected and hoped for. Admittedly, I'm curious if this was ever a smoothie or just frozen artificial mango juice, but regardless I'm not irreparably disappointed. Great food, great dessert, amazing side. Like my last order, I will put this restaurant on a bi-monthly order basis, meaning that's about how often you want to order from here with the price tag this place boasts.

• DoorDash orderThe rice was very fresh as well as the curry. Very flavorful and large portion. This can be shared easily with another person or take the rest for lunch the nextday. Only thing I would add is more onion but that's just me. Give the curry a try. Chicken curry with rice

• DoorDash orderI'm not going to let this sub-par first experience taint my view of this restaurant, not until I've had more of their menu items, but I've got mixed feelings about my order. After trying their spicy Salmon quesadilla, I can confirm that seafood and quesadillas don't mix well. I received conflicting flavor profiles that overall did not clash with each other, and was made mildly better when dipped in sour cream. On the contrary, the flavor was made significantly worse when dipped in the salsa. Despite sharing 3 of the same letters arranged in the same way, salmon and salsa do not mix whatsoever. The order price overall was rather ridiculous, at about $50 for the Salmon , Side Macroni and cheese , Assorted Baklava ,and peach Smoothies . On the positive side of this order, I had ordered a Side Macroni and cheese , which was extremely creamy and delicious. Possibly the best restaurant made Mac and Cheese I've ever had. I also ordered a dessert of Assorted Baklava , which came with four pieces. The Baklava, while very rich in flavor, was crispy on the top layers of phyllo dough, and firm/rigid on the bottom layers that housed the majority of the simple syrup. The syrup was not overpowering, and the flavors of the various pieces came through identifiably. Overall a very delicious dessert, and one I very much think is worth the price. I would put this restaurant's order frequency on a bi-monthly scale, meaning you'd probably want to order from here at at most twice per month. The price and choice of food type combos is what killed 2 stars, but the unexpectedly delightful dessert and side revived one for a total of 4 out of 5 stars.

• DoorDash orderThis, honestly, is the best establishment that serves food, period. Jane is an awesome bartender with amazing customer service, and Andy, the owner, who also makes all the food makes me feel welcome everytime I come in. The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing, and its a great atmosphere to relax.
