Had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Fried Green Tomatoes. I was impressed by how it tasted like home. Large portions so we were stuffed. Even saved some for later. You won’t be disappointed.

Very good southern style food. Surprised by the chicken on a bed of grits, never seen that before but it's good! Green beans are actually fresh. Overall great! Deviled eggs are great but filling is a bit thin. The tea is good too!

My wife ordered the filet mignon for her New Year's Day lunch and I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken. Her steak was cooked the requested temperature and my chicken was very tender. Over several meals from the Root Cellar the quality has been exceptional.
