This is my first time in Texas, and I have heard raving reviews about how good to food in Dallas is. I found Torchy's Tacos as a nearby option and the tacos were fun and creative, so i gave it a try.
I tried the:
Mr. Orange- 5/5. Delicious flavor, fresh fish, and the tortilla held up well
Tipsy Chick- 5/5. Unique combination of flavors, everything blended well
Brushfire- 5/5. My mouth is still on fire
Democrat- 3/5. Nothing special, but nothing wrong with it
Overall im pleased with this spot! Inlikethag they give you the sauces on the side, and each taco is labeled with stickers that state which sauce to use.
I did not customize any taco as i like to try what the chefs create, overall i am pleased!

THE. BEST. I can't even begin to describe how much my family and I LOVEEEE Torchys!! The pinto beans are PHENOMENAL (best I've had in the DFW area so far), the guacamole was also fantastic (you can really taste the fresh ingredients) and the tacos we ordered were delicious too. 11/10 would recommend

Ordered a Full Queso. We received a cup only half full and with no guacamole. This isn't the only time they've skimped us on some pretty expensive queso. Bean cheese tacos were no more than a flower tortilla with a bean smear. Hardly any beans or cheese.

The bacon egg and cheese tacos and chicken quesadilla both had so much grease on them. The grease was all over the foil before I even unwrapped it. Some of bacon was pretty squishy too, but it tasted okay. The bean & cheese taco tasted good and was not greasy.
