the Breakfast Quesadilla is SOOO delicious, even without any meat. cheesy goodness dipped with lime crema on the side?? mouthwatering. homestyle potatoes were full of flavor and good! might be slightly too salty for me but still ate em all. Vietnamese Coffee is good but very strong! love the flavors but i ended up adding more milk bc i usually like my coffee light and sweet. would get it all again!

I miss having this place in HB. Picked up passing thru Irvine- wanted a Spaghetti Grilled Cheese of course but decided to get a few things since I am not in Irvine much. Of course nothing disappointed at all but the Pastrami Hash + Egg + Cheddar was to die for and I think it might be our new favorite! The portions are large/perfect. Everything was so good. I don't really have to mention how good the soufflé pancakes were... that's a given.
Also I promptly dropped my
Vietnamese Coffee before I stepped foot out the door (my eyes were dilated so don't judge me- ha- ) and although humiliated no one working there seemed to hate me for it. Anyway... Shredded Beef Shredded Beef Sandwich was yum as well reheated next day. I'll be back and make way less of a dramatic exit next time. The food made the humiliation worth it LOL
Also to note that I was recognized after like 5 years not being in a BC. I was a reg in HB. We always talk about how a different location in HB would have made all the difference. I'm just happy you exist elsewhere, just reminiscing! See you sooner than later!

This is the BEST breakfast money can buy! Soft scrambled eggs are delicious, bacon is cooked perfectly, and the potatoes are perfect! I've had the biscuits and gravy, and although the biscuit can be overcooked occasionally, the gravy is fantastic. The chicken sandwich is also spectacular w/juicy chicken, delicious potato spread, and honey tabasco.

The home fried potatoes were perfect. Super crispy and very good!
Unfortunately the chilaquiles were packed in a way that they became unusable. The quality of the food was clearly good - just the nature of the dish doesn't take well to delivery. The tortillas were cold and mushy... far from crispy. Maybe next time send the Shredded Beef Chilaquiles in separate containers for tortillas, cheese, beef.. this way it can be properly constructed at the time of eating. Very sad to say, I tried to save the beef and avocado, but the meal is kind of destroyed.
