I practically dream about Au Cheval daily and have endulged at the original in Chicago multiple times. It's simply the best burger in existence. That said, I was a bit squeamish about ordering the "takeout version" of the Classic Au Cheval Double Cheeseburger but it held up decently for delivery. No doubt the 'sit down' version would be superior.
The French Fries probably could have been left off my order, I remember them being a bigger star of the meal.

Of course it's better when you dine in, but boy that burger was still perfect. If you want a 4 charles burger but cant get a reservation since it's impossible, this is your ticket
