The Gluten free CARROT CAKE [GF] is amazing! The only improvement would be raisins but they have nailed it - real cream cheese frosting....sooooo gooooood!!! Leave off the powdered sugar and glaze. The cake is perfect solo!
The BRICK CHICKEN [GF] was moist and crispy. A bit peppery but still very good.
Knowing I was going to indulge on the CARROT CAKE [GF] I made some subs on the BRICK CHICKEN [GF]. I swapped the roasted veggies for broccoli and the sweet potato mash for fruit. No shortage of either was provided.
Best dinner I've had on a business trip. Even better is that I had it deivered and didn't need to brace for the unusually cold temps.

One of my favorites in Houston. Everything I've tried here is delicious. The chicken Caesar wrap and tomato basil soup are my usual. I compare all tomato soup to theirs. The BEST.

The BLACKENED SHRIMP SALAD [GF][DF] was the perfect blend of flavors. the shrimp were room temperature when it arrived but that's my fault for ordering takeout I guess. the only alternative would be for the restaurant to package the meat separately from the salad. I'm not a salad person and I ate and enjoyed every bite. the shrimp are not very spicy but they have a pleasant seasoning.
The mixed berry Mixed Berry Galette had a mild pleasant sweetness without being overly sweet. there was a nice blend of berries on top. However the pastry was tough and burnt on the bottom which makes me think someone treated it like a pizza crust and kneaded it instead of treating it gently like pastry dough. I hope that was a one-off mistake. I've made pastry tarts many times and this dough just wasn't tender and crisp. it was tough and crunchy.
Overall I'll try Bellagreen again because everything was better than your average restaurant fare for sure.

ROASTED SWEET POTATO & MANGO BOWL is chef's kiss. AVOCADO LIME CHEESECAKE was straight for what it was but needs more crust to custard ratio. Hubs had the CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP and wait it was good.
