After focusing on craft beer for five years, the team behind Cellarmaker Brewing Company decided to launch a restaurant with some of the tastiest Detroit-style pizza and appetizers on the West Coast. …
Got the Detroit Red Top, and love they allow you to add Impossible sausage. The crust is so crispy and while there are only 4 pieces, I was only able to eat 1 1/3 slices--they are sizable! Solid Detroit style pizza. Also really neat you can add on a tip for restaurant staff. More restaurants should do that.

The Rick Reuben pizza - great flavors, I thought the pizza might be too small but it was easily two full servings. There's a lot of salt and fat in here, so 1 - 2 squares (out of 4) were more than enough oral stimulation, I'm glad I got a salad. Also just a great square pie, plenty of burned cheese edges. The All'amatriciana was similarly flavorful, too spicy for the person that ordered it, but I enjoyed eating what was left.

After having read glowing reviews in The Chronicle, I was eager to try this place. But upon ordering it seemed like the menu was scaled back from what the review described. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Pepperoni which was opulent and tasty, but was so oily, it didn't sit well with my digestion. I could only eat one piece. I also ordered the Winter Citrus Salad, but I think they didn't have a can of beets to make up for an ingredient shortage. It was only lettuce, lots of walnuts and a small amount of goat cheese. There were grapefruit chunks - not supremed as they should have been. Oily vinaigrette. Very disappointed. $8.99 was WAY TOO MUCH for a miniscule amount of house made Chips & Dip which was good. I might order again if item choices improve.

The pizza is really good. It is a bit on the pricey side for the size of pizza, but the pepperoni still ended up being two meals for me, especially when paired with a salad or their garlic bread.
The dough was really airy but still had a really good crunch. Would recommend!

Amazing pizza! Beers are good too but expensive due to the large bottle size. Would love smaller individual serving bottles.
