These are not the traditional rugelah I am used to, but they are still good. And if you just want a small bite if something sweet, these are yhe perfect size to satisfy your craving.

Probably my fav deli in Toronto, best pastrami. My only complaint is no "kaiser roll" option on the bread selection list. Why not?
Id be glad to pay an upcharge, as with the other options available.
Other than that, love almost everything wr order from here

First experience with this deli and decided to try the Centre Street Deli Special with smoked meat, extra crispy fries. It comes with quarter (?) pickle and coleslaw. Sandwich: poor execution, most of the meat was on one half of the sandwich and the bread slices were not aligned when they cut sandwich in half so half the sandwich, the side with less meat, pretty much only had the top bread either the bottom bread amounting to one bite. The rest was eaten with the fork. Meat cut super thick. Was it old fashioned style with lean and fatty meat? Seemed like it was just lean meat so the thickness was too thick imo. Also how does one enjoy a Montreal smoked meat sandwich without any mustard? They don't. Mustard of any kind wasn't even an option to order. I figured it just came with yellow mustard, or even just onthe side. Nope. Extra crispy fries: a bit greasy and soggy (deli is practically next door to me). But Ienjoyed the fries more than the disappointing sandwich. Coleslaw: when container was pulled from the bag I thought they accidentally sent soup instead of coleslaw. Nope, it was coleslaw swimming in the brine. Once the cabbage was eaten, the leftover brine remained in the container and filled it halfway full. Thats a lotta brine!! Would I order this again or recommend to others on Door Dash? Definitely not. But I am willing to give the deli another try in person. Store is so close to me that quality would not be impacted by delivery but at least I would save a few coin by picking it up myself or dining in. Still not sure Iwant to spend $25+ for this in person, I mean, do I need to pay extra for mustard? Is mustard even an option at the store? Thisbis the first bad smoked meat sandwich ihave ever had and i have had frozen Montreal smoked meat at home that was so much better!
